The Life in the Mesolithic team had a fantastic day on Saturday at the Humanities Research Centre Festival Fringe Event, as part of the Festival of Ideas.
We had a brilliant time with the young people, getting them to paint and make casts of their feet, helping them to make Mesolithic-inspired fish traps and demonstrating the effects of isostatic uplift to them, all whilst teaching them about what life was like in the Mesolithic.
Now we can’t wait to do it all again for our flagship Mesolithic activity day on the 21st July at King’s Manor in York. See our Events page for more details.
